EXTENSION PROGRAM FACULTY OF LAW

PADJADJARAN UNIVERSITY

Background and Mission

Considering the mission of higher education to increase the quality of education and to prepare the skillful human resources, particularly regarding the efforts to fulfil the need of qualified undergraduates in law science towards the 21^st century, the Faculty of Law Padjadjaran University provides the Extension Program. In accordance with the Minister of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia's Decree No. 0325/U/1994 concerning the Curriculum of Law Science Graduates Program, the Extension Program of Faculty of Law Padjadjaran University aims to:

Provide the opportunity for the employees (private/government owned company), state employees, member of the Army (ABRI), and high school graduates, whose the year of graduation no more allows them to follow the UMPTN (State University Examination System), to attend the Undergraduates (S-1) Program in Law Science
Develop the optimal benefit of human resources and facilities of the Faculty of Law Padjadjaran University
Produce the qualified and professional law graduate who is also sensible to the questions of social and justice.

Study Programs

The Extension Program has only one study program, which is Law Science, that provides the graduates with Law Degree. To grasp the need of the society and the interest of the students, therefore, in Semester VII, students are able to choose to major in these following Specialty Programs:

Economic Law
Transnational and Diplomatic Law
Environmental and Spatial Law
The Law of Development and Surveillance
State Policy Law
Criminal Law
Family and Personal Law

Terms of Admission

Indonesian Citizen or the Foreigners possessing the study permit in Indonesia
Holding the Diploma/STTB of High School or similar level, and could no more following the UMPTN based on the year of graduation
Students from similar Higher Education, having accomplished 110 Semester Credit System or SKS
Passing the Admission Exam

Admission

The admission for the academic year of 1999-2000 shall be held from 24^th June to 29^th July 1999, at the campus of Padjadjaran University, Jl. Dipati Ukur No. 35 Bandung 40132, Indonesia

Admission Exam

The Admission Exam shall be held in the campus of Padjadjaran University, which includes:

Indonesian Language & English, Social Science, and Social Math (for the High School Graduates and similar level)
Basic Materials of Law Science (for students from similar Higher Education with 110 SKS)

Tuition Fees

The tuition fees cover as follows:

Admission Fee for Rp. 125,000.00
Conversion Fee for Rp. 75,000.00
Development Fee for Rp. 2,500,000.00 (paid once when applicants admitted)
Donation for Educational Management for Rp. 40,000.00 per SKS, with minimum number of 18 SKS, paid at the beginning of every semester

The study program takes place at the Extension Program Faculty of Law Padjadjaran University Campus, Jl. Dago Pojok no. 23 Bandung (formerly Faculty of Psychology Padjadjaran University Campus), from 17.00 up to 22.00 WIB.
